Assay specifications
- Measures endogenous active MMP-1 or total active MMP-1 (following activation with APMA).
- Samples: tissue culture supernatants, serum, plasma, urine, synovial fluid and tissue homogenates.
- Quantitative.
- Range/sensitivity: 3.13-50 ng/ml (1.5-h incubation with detection reagent). 0.1-1.56 ng/ml (4-h incubation with detection reagent). Sensitivity: 0.1 ng/ml.
- Ease-of-use: Equivalent to ELISA.
- Overnight protocol.
